Crédit Agricole S.A.’s first global advertising campaign

Crédit Agricole S.A. launched an advertising campaign at the end of 2009 to improve brand awareness internationally. The focus is therefore outside France, targeted specifically on economic and financial opinion makers.

The multi-media campaign has been widely aired in Europe but also in Asia (Hong Kong, Singapore, and Tokyo) as well as in the Middle East (Saudi Arabia and the Gulf States). It has been broadcasted on CNN , BBC World, Bloomberg TV and CNBC, as well as on the Internet. In addition, print ads have appeared in the financial press in Europe, including the Financial Times.

The campaign has been organised in two waves, the first from 23 November to 19 December 2009, and the second from 18 January to 14 March 2010. The campaign consists of one corporate film and four business-specific films that express the Crédit Agricole Group’s decision to follow a new economic model firmly rooted in the real economy and responsible growth.
